There’s not a lot I can’t do with graphics, and the graphics applications I primarily use (Adobe Suite) are industry standard. Whether it is full color, greyscale or simple black & white, I can meet your project needs.
Logos
Developing logotypes for companies is probably the most difficult task any graphic artist/designer can undertake. And it’s not just the technical aspects that are challenging, but understanding the needs of the client and the spirit of the business they represent: the products, the services, the paradigm, itself. To make an effective logo takes more than just technical expertise, but a bit of psychology and a lot of research and consideration. Logotypes are unique design projects because they require knowledge of how the logos with be printed, how to reduct the costs of printing by reducing the numbers of colors and complexity of the logo, especially for color and designing the logo in differing color scopes – four-color or spot-color, greyscale and monochrome. Logos, by nature, should be simple and elegant and save the customer money for printing them in the end.
Advertising
Advertising is an inexpensive way to get your message out to your potential customers. Whether in wide-distributed magazines or in the local newspapers, advertisements let your customers know what kind of services or products you offer and they are also a great way to offer savings by way of coupons or discounts. Currently some of my customers have printed their advertisements on 4×6 post cards and distributed them throughout their communities, usually in common areas like grocery stores and restaurants. This is a really inexpensive way to advertise your business and the quality of the printing is bright and eye-catching, especially with the aqueous coating on each one. They are professional and impressive and something to consider doing for your own business.
Marketing
As well as advertising, many of my clients have opted to go with the traditional tri-fold brochure in full and glorious color. Again, they are an fairly inexpensive, but provide the benefit of being able to fit a lot of information into them. As opposed to pure advertising, brochures and other complex marketing materials are more about telling customers about your business in detail and providing them with more comprehensive information about the services and products you provide. Also, marketing is more than just printed documents and their high-quality; it’s also about salesmanship and selling the customer what it is they need or want. It’s about targeting a particular audience with the information they need: you’re probably not going to send plumbers information about prom dresses – that’s not the audience you are seeking. Marketing is about finding the correct audience for your products and services, and therefore takes more research and understanding of the current economic environment. We can help you with this, help you get the word to the proper customers.
